Duration: 1/2 day

To get you off the beaten track and discover the Vendée in a different way, we’re proposing an escapade that’s all about taste.
You’re familiar with France’s great wine estates and exceptional crus, but believe us, there are some little-known terroirs in our country that have some lovely surprises in store for you.
Meet in Brem sur Mer, on the church square.
And off we go for a thirty-kilometer wine tour.
TERROIR DE BREM SUR MER” WINE ROUTE
31 km wine tourism circuit
You’ll start off at La Gachère, an old fishing village.
Take advantage of this opportunity to treat yourself to your first “flavor” break. A hollow oyster in your mouth, a glass of white wine in your hand and all the iodized scents of the ocean will exalt your palate.
Through the vineyards and these sublime landscapes, you’ll discover a new angle on the behind-the-scenes aspects of an ancestral know-how.
At Domaine l’Orée du Sabia, for example, you’ll come across a team of passionate winemakers.
They’ll take the time to tell you all about their terroir, and explain the different winemaking methods…
Then it’s time to enjoy these delicious beverages, and taste the vintages that are the pride of the Vendée.
To round off this morning in an original way, we invite you to join us at a very special place… La Cabane, in Brem sur Mer!
It’s an address we particularly appreciate. The atmosphere is relaxed, and this atypical oyster bar offers a relaxing change of scenery. The ideal way to recover from your trip through the vineyards.
In this former oyster shack converted into a restaurant, you can enjoy oysters and seafood in a picture-postcard setting in the heart of the marshes.

Good to know:
For those wishing to continue the day, the managers of La Cabane also offer activities such as canoeing, archery and paddle boarding.
